The School Commission provides input and assistance to the school principal regarding goals and objectives specific to the school, developing the school’s budget, reporting on the status of the school to the parish and directing the implementation of Archdiocesan educational policy in the school program.
Membership of the School Commission consists of seven to fifteen elected persons from school families and parish representatives. Members serve a three–year term. The Pastor and the Principal are ex-officio members.

The School PTO assists in relaying school information to parents and parishioners: enhances positive relationships among teachers, parents, and the parish; provides additional assistance for special school activities, and furnishes financial support to SJCS by purchasing items that benefit the children of the school.
All school families are invited to participate in the PTO and are asked to pay annual dues.
The PTO is led by the elected officers: the president, the vice-president, the secretary, and the treasurer.
