The NET Ministries team has been busy meeting and greeting young people from St. Mary and St. Joseph parishes. These opportunities, known as relational ministry, give the missionaries a chance to get to know youth outside of parish and school events and provides them with the opportunity to invite them into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church. As we prepare for the second semester, we are in need of financial contributions and/or gift cards in any denomination for "relational ministry" at the following locations: Kent Java, McDonald's, Dairy Queen, Starbucks, take-out pizza resturants, JayC Cards, Bagel Girls and Lazy Cow.
Donations can be placed in the collection basket in a marked envelope or dropped off at the Parish Office.

Over the last nine months, we have been participating in spiritually adopting unborn babies who are in danger of abortion. Because of your prayers, these mothers were given the grace to receive the support and courage they needed to choose life for their baby.
To continue supporting these babies and their families, we will be hosting a "baby shower supply drive." Donations can be dropped off in the Narthex. Additionally, please consider donating financially to our local pregnancy resource center, CHOICES.
In addition to these events, prepare for Advent and Christmas by picking up a Little Blue Book in the Narthex. Books are availble in both English and Spanish. Reflections are from November 27, 2022 through January 9, 2023, and are based on the first reading for daily Mass.

Every few years, the Knights of Columbus selects an icon of a saint whose patronage is particularly inspiring to Knights and their communities. Each jurisdiction receives one or several of these icons which travel from council to council and serve as the centerpieces for prayer services in parishes throughout the Order. Since the first traveling pilgrim icon of Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1979, more than 174,800 council and parish prayer services with some 22 million participants have been held.
