"Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds." CCC 131 

Middle School preparation is incorporated into Middle School Youth Group meetings Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm in the St. Joseph Parish Hall Gym. Youth desiring to be confirmed at age 13 (who do not attend a Catholic school) must attend for at least a year to be eligible for confirmation. Beginning in April, all those wishing to be confirmed in the fall attend classes once a month for focused preparation. 

For those interested in being confirmed in the fall of 2025, parents are invited to a meeting on July 30th from 6:30-8:30 pm at St. Joseph in the Parish Hall Gym. 

High School preparation can be incorporated into High School Youth Group if a young person was not confirmed in 8th grade. High School Youth Group meetings occur on Sundays from 4:00-6:00 pm. Youth must attend for at least a year to be eligible for confirmation.
