In July of 2023, the Harrison County Conference of the Society of St.Vincent de Paul installed a Blessing Blox to better serve our community. This ministry allows people who are in need of food assistance to get the help they need in a discreet way with no strings attached.
     Fittingly, the Blessing Box is located behind the tabernacle at St. Joseph. When we love others as Jesus has loved us, the mystery of the Eucharist is fulfilled in us–we become the Body of Christ, broken and offered for the salvation of the world. The Eucharist strengthens us to fulfill our call to lay down our lives through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
